In collaboration with primary designer Roche Modern, I had the privilege of contributing to the architectural design of Sempre Oggi, a modern Italian restaurant located in the vibrant Upper West Side of Manhattan. The project seamlessly blends contemporary aesthetics with a warm, organic approach, creating a dining space that is as inviting as it is innovative. The guiding philosophy for Sempre Oggi was to embody its name, “Always Today,” by crafting a timeless yet current design narrative. We sought to evoke the spirit of modern Italy, balancing sophistication and approachability through thoughtful use of materials, colors, and textures. The interplay of natural and crafted elements brings a sense of harmony, transforming the space into an immersive sensory experience. The result is a dining experience that feels effortlessly modern yet deeply rooted in tradition. Sempre Oggi invites guests to savor not only exquisite Italian cuisine but also the artistry and craftsmanship of its space.
